Again, I appear to be a few days late on something…but hey, why change the habit of a life time?
It’s that time of year again when New Year’s Resolution posts are absolutely rife on the blogosphere,(feel free to punch me in the face for using that word) and being completely honest, the nosey
bitch parker in me loves reading other people’s NYR’s! (life’s too short for writing everything out in full, plus I think ‘NYR’ sounds quite cool right? It doesn’t?…that’ll be just me then!
Anyway, as I was saying, I love reading other people’s NYR’S not only do they give you a bit of inspiration, but it’s quite nice to see people go back over them at the end of the year to see if they achieved them. The downside to this is – as I was saying in my last post – if my past resolutions are anything to go by it’ll just be a big fat reminder of what I’ve not managed to achieve or let’s face, what I caved in on on January 2nd!
But in an attempt to kick my arse in gear I thought I’d put mine out there, after all what’s the point in making in them if you’re not going to try and keep them (erm…there isn’t any you knob!)
First resolution? To blog more! – as easy and as much of a cop out as this one sounds, I’d bet money that it is probably going to be the trickiest one. Being a TV freelancer, you can go from having a few odd jobs a week, to suddenly having a 6-day working week contract, working 18hour days and not having enough time to eat or sleep let alone blog. (that’s happened to me quite a few times) So I’m making it my mission that when I’m not
waving goodbye to my life working, then I’ll be blogging, as much as I can, or what is most likely to happen…when I can be arsed!
Today I can be arsed….and probably look like a bit of an arse! OOTD…
The polar bear…I mean, Jumper: River Island (in the sale, of course!)
Extremely unflattering ‘sausage in the skin’ trousers: H&M
Boots: River Island (in the sale, again, do you expect anything less by now?)
Looking back at the pictures, I’m suddenly regretting already using the whole ’50 shades of grey’ title on a previous post, and ‘only grey shades’ doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it does it? Also thinking a New Years Resolution may have to be to start wearing more colours, or failing that, start wearing colours other than grey. Or failing that even…just get myself a stylist! A girl can dream…
